Swimming pool

Heat pump
A
new method for heating swimming pools has emerged that is six times more
efficient than any other alternative method.
The heat pumps use the heat from the sun, accumulating and absorbing
energy from the outside air, compressing and transferring it to the
pool, making it circulate through the water. These pumps are capable of
forcing the heat flow in the opposite direction, using a relatively low
amount of impulse energy.
The heat pumps do not generate heat, they simply capture it and move it
from one place to another, using the surrounding air and converting it
into energy for your swimming pool. The heat pumps are the perfect
complement for your swimming pool.
A
heat pump can save up to 80% in operating costs. In order to extend the
ideal season for bathing and swimming during the entire year in a warm
and comfortable pool, the heat pumps allow you to maintain the ideal
temperature for the pool water without increasing the bill.
The heat pumps’ performance increases with the ambient temperature.
Normally, they usually stop working when the outdoor temperature is less
than 5ºC. If we take into account that swimming pools are usually used
during the warmest seasons, the heat pumps are one of the most efficient
heating methods.
Moreover, the energy savings of these systems contribute directly to the
conservation of the environment.
