For any family, the decision on what
kind of heating and hot water system they are going to install in
their home is a very important one. Not only will they probably have
to live with it for many years, but also whatever they decide will
have a direct effect on their pockets, not so much as regards the
installation, but rather in terms of what it is going to cost them
to run it.
What should you demand from
your chosen heating system?
The ideal heating and/or hot water system for your home should
provide a high level of comfort at a reasonable cost; it should be
easy to install, leak-proof, appropriate for homes with children or
elderly people, clean, smokeless and environmental-friendly; it
should not consume oxygen nor require periodic or programmed
maintenance or servicing.
Most of the
equipment designed to make your home more comfortable and safe runs
on electricity. However, there is a common and false belief that
electric heating is expensive. Though they may not realise it, users
are paying more for their gas heating than they would if they used
energy-saving electric heating, and without any additional benefits.
In fact, quite to the contrary, they are losing out on the many
advantages that electrical powered systems can offer.
For example, many users are probably unaware that during the last
year gas prices have been reviewed every three months and that
between January and 27 October 2005, prices rose a total of 15%.
Under the present legislation, RD 1432/2002 of 27 December, the
maximum annual price rise permitted for electricity is 2%. Likewise,
users may also not know that under law and for security reasons,
gas-fuelled systems must be inspected periodically.
No boiler
Easy installation, no works required. No pollution, ecological. No
maintenance. Reduction of up to 50% of energy consumption compared
to traditional systems. No building works
Installation is quick and easy, with small supports screwed to the
wall. No building works are required: no tanks, no boiler, no pipes,
no pipe conduits, no chimneys. Complete installation in an average
flat takes about three hours and the system can be divided into
modules, according to the requirements of each room.
No costs
Energy saving due to the heat diffusers' low energy absorption:
approximately 50% less than traditional diffusers. High performance,
due to the special characteristics of its heat flow: Thermal inertia
- during continued use, the power consumption for 10-12 hours of
heat emission rarely exceeds 5 hours. Independent heat diffusers, to
heat only where heat is needed. No
pollution
Does not modify or dry the atmosphere.
Non-polluting.
Does not produce gases or smoke.
Does not produce any waste.
Does not contaminate the environment. No
boiler
Does not use fuel.
Does not depend on tanks, conduits, etc.
It is odour-free.
Does not stain the walls.
Installation is simple. No complications
The heat diffusers are not hot to the touch. The high inertia flow
provided is non-toxic and non-corrosive.
No maintenance
Heat diffusers are manufactured using injected aluminium and prime
quality materials, resistant to wear and corrosion. They are
maintenance-free for life.
